"Paul had a lovely, gentle way about his coaching, very non-judgemental and accepting, and a kindly approach. He shared his own experiences freely and put me at complete ease. He gave me lots of space to talk, and his mannerisms were very reassuring.
I walked away from the exchange feeling SO much better in myself. It was lovely to speak to someone who had experienced exactly the same thing, and I felt so supported. I have made tons of progress since my sessions, learned loads, and will continue to practice the advice given for years to come.
Paul is an awesome coach, and I wish I had found him years ago. Highly recommended!"

Affective Liminal Psychology
Affective Liminal Psychology (TM) is This Naked Mind's method for assisting our clients on their journey back to themselves. At the heart of our methodology is a deep-rooted belief that each individual carries within them not only the most valuable wisdom for directing their lives, but also the inherent peace, joy, and love of life that we witness in small children. This innate sense of wonder and self-love, although often obscured by life’s challenges, pain, traumas, and societal expectations, never leaves us. It remains a constant presence within each one of us, waiting to be rediscovered and embraced.

Most of our behaviour is driven by subconscious thought patterns and beliefs and these can make it difficult to change ingrained behaviours, particularly behaviours such as drinking, where the brain's reward pathways are also involved. Affective Liminal Psychology (ALP) offers a roadmap to expose and change these subconscious patterns so that change does not require a huge expenditure of willpower and there is no feeling of being deprived once alcohol becomes a small and insignificant part of life. Moreover, dealing with alcohol dependence, while important, is just a stepping stone to finding a more fulfilling life with more joy, better relationships and more opportunities to explore our innate creativity and power.

ALP is based on a sound current understanding of published research in psychology and neurochemistry and all of the methods and tactics are derived from research and the experience of Annie Grace and our senior coaching team.
Integrity Statement
I promise to uphold the highest standards of integrity which includes, but is not limited to, maintaining client confidentiality, being open and transparent with clients and doing everything within my power to deliver what I promise.

As a coach who works with people seeking to redefine their relationship with alcohol, it is important to set out my personal relationship with alcohol. I have not had an alcoholic drink since 2019 and have no desire or intention to drink in the future. However, as a human, I also acknowledge that we are all capable of making mistakes and changing our minds. Should I ever drink in the future, I will make it clear in this statement that I have done so.
